David is the President of the Property Management Division of Compass with leadership responsibilities for all aspects of the company including business development, acquisitions, strategy, operations and client relations. David began his 30+ year real-estate career in property management and at one time managed a large and varied portfolio of multi-family and commercial properties across the North Bay. Trained as a Certified Financial Planner and a Certified Commercial Investment Member, in time Dave leveraged his financial training and moved into syndications and then commercial brokerage focusing on investment property sales. In 2010 in order to better serve the needs of his many loyal clients, Dave and his wife Laurie started Sierra Property Services, a north-Bay property management company, which in time was merged into Pacific Union Property Management and later Compass. David’s focus is on growing a team of seasoned professionals with a reputation for providing excellent management services across the greater Bay Area.

Jessica Buurma is a third-generation real estate property manager. Jessica worked her way through college as a broker’s assistant in one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the nation. After her graduation from Dordt College with a degree in Business Marketing, she founded, along with her parents, Sierra Property Services, a North Bay Property Management firm. Jessica ran that operation and expanded it to include offices in Napa and Elk Grove. Because of her diverse background, Jessica is widely experienced in commercial property management, HOA management, lease analysis and CAM reconciliation. In 2014 she merged Sierra Property Services with Pacific Union Property Management which later became Compass, where she oversees the management of properties in the North Bay. Her diverse experience, fresh perspective and enthusiasm will help to ensure that your investment property receives the highest-quality professional care.

She has been involved with the management of commercial and multi-residential properties and more recently leasing of income properties. Angie enjoys working with owners, showing their properties, and finding the right tenant. Originally from England, she has called Marin County home since 1985. She loves to show the San Francisco Bay Area to her many visitors, enjoys travel and spending time with friends and family.
Chelsea Draper, Vice President of HOA Management North Bay, CCAM
With over a decade of residential property management experience, Chelsea Draper comes to Compass as a highly experienced and qualified property and association manager. She has years of experience in large community association management, special association projects, and association insurance claims. A native of Los Angles, Chelsea holds a degree from Sonoma State University in Business Administration as well as a California Real Estate license. In her free time, she enjoys, playing with her children and spending time with her husband, showing horses competitively and supporting local charities like The Living Room and the local food banks.
William Davies, Community Association Manager
Bill comes to Compass with experience in all facets of real estate, including commercial and residential sales, commercial property management, leasing and community association management. A Napa Valley native, Bill and his wife, Dedra, also owned and operated two franchise food businesses, providing Bill the opportunity to bring an entrepreneurial perspective and understanding of the importance of details to community association management. Bill’s goal is to build relationships with and provide the highest quality service to Compass clients. In his free time, Bill enjoys travelling in the Sierras, visiting as many small lakes as he can find, spending time with his wife and grandchildren and lending a helping hand where needed.
Tess Allen, Community Association Manager
Tess brings over 15 years of experience in hospitality and program management, specifically within the luxury market, to the association management team. Our clients benefit from her high-quality service and her unparalleled attention to detail. She specializes in project management, handling everything from initial contracting, budget, coordination, vendor selection, onsite support, and producing a final product that exceeds expectations consistently. Tess has a passion for creating successful experiences and building relationships with everyone she encounters. A local to Santa Rosa, Tess enjoys the Sonoma County community and all that the region offers.
Jody Burton, HOA Accounting
WIth over 25 years of accounting experience, 10 of that in the Homeowner Association Management sector, Jody is a true asset to Compas HOA Management. Jody handles all association accounting functions, including preparing association income and expense reports, preparing owner statements, account receivables, accounts payables, general ledger and financial reporting. Jody focuses on being detail oriented and keeps the department running with unparalled accuracy.
Betsy Saltzman, HOA Executive Assistant
Betsy comes to Compass HOA Management with ten years of experience in the community management industry. She is primarily responsible for putting in place organizational procedures that benefit the Compass Association Management division and Betsy makes sure everything runs smoothly in the Santa Rosa office. She focuses on assisting Managers in monitoring insurance policies, producing anual budget packets, updating reserve studies, and helping with the coordination of owner documents and welcome packets.Betsy has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Southern California. She and her family moved to Sonoma County over 20 years ago from Southern California.

An expert in the East Bay, Bryce and his family reside in the Lamorinda area. He is one of the most trusted and successful Real Estate agents in Contra Costa, Solano and Alameda counties. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in Communications, Bryce started his professional career working for large Fortune 500 corporations such as Lucent Technologies, Nortel Networks, and BellSouth. Finally deciding to embark on a career where his interests were prominent, he earned his California real estate license in 2002 and worked as a Senior Loan Consultant for a large mortgage banker for six years.
